A wafer butterfly valve is a quarter-turn valve whose body is clamped between two pipeline flanges by a set of through-bolts, with no separate flange of its own. “Wafer” refers to this thin, sandwich-type body design, which makes the valve compact, light and low-cost compared with a double-flanged valve.
Every valve is tested before delivery, including appearance and dimension check, shell test at the nominal pressure, and both low-pressure and high-pressure seat tightness tests. A test report with serial numbers can be issued on request.
Standard production covers DN50 to DN1000, with pressure ratings of PN6 and PN16. Larger sizes (up to DN1200) can be quoted on special orders.
